You prepare G-code similar to what you would for a CNC mill (generated by a CAM program like Fusion 360, Mastercam, etc.)
The FANUC robot interprets the G-code through a Robot G-code interpreter software option.
X, Y, Z coordinates are translated into robotic movements — including arm positioning and spindle/tool interaction.
Additional motion commands, feed rates, and dwell times are handled automatically.
You can send G-code directly to the robot’s controller, or upload G-code files for the robot to execute.
